REVIEW FOR SOLO EXHIBITION & GENERAL CONSIGNMENT

Box Heart accepts applications for Solo Exhibitions yearly. Artists interested in submitting materials to our Review Process should follow the listed procedures to ensure that their work is reviewed properly.

Review for Solo Exhibitions is completed every October. Artists interested in exhibiting can submit the following materials, by October 1st, to be considered for exhibitions currently available in 2011 and 2012:

• a completed Exhibition Application
• Artist Resume
• Artist Statement
• Artist Biography
• 10 -12 slides/photos of work (Digital files are also accepted by disc with application.)
• Self addressed stamped envelope for the return of snail mail materials

All materials submitted will be returned to the artist by December 1st. All artists who submit materials will receive comments on his/her artwork and a complete list of selected artists. Artists can always contact the gallery with questions regarding his or her work.

Box Heart selects eight (8) artists for Solo Exhibitions. Each Solo Exhibition is twenty-six days, including setup and takedown. Each selected artist receives full Gallery Representation and are encouraged in participate in all Group exhibitions though out the year. This includes:

• Anniversary Group Exhibition - June
• Celebrate the Season - December

Gallery Representation provides the artists selected for a Solo Exhibition with the following services:

• Display of artwork/ Solo Exhibition
• Public Artist Reception
• Advertisement/publicity
• Artwork hosted on BoxHeart's website and other arts related sites
• Promotion to other Galleries, Businesses, Corporations, etc.

Box Heart is happy to answer any question an artist may have concerning the Review Process. Artists are welcome to view our review Jury Form in order to verify the method by which their work will be scored by our gallery.

Artists interested in our gallery, but not ready for a solo exhibition can apply to our Review Panel for general consignment in the manner stated above for solo exhibition. Please use the same application provided above and indicate "consider general consignment." For general consignment submissions, we recommend a minimum of three (3) consistent works for consideration. General consignment submissions are received, reviewed, and notified within a three month period. Thank you for your interest in our gallery. We look forward to viewing your work.
