Bucklin
Bucklin
wants her photography to strike an emotional chord
with the individual viewing it and touch their mind,
heart, and soul. She believes that the most beautiful
things in life are the most simple. Bucklin shoots
with Infrared Film for the surreal, ethereal and haunting
images it creates. The world seems mysterious and
dream-like... a wonderful escape into beauty that
the naked eye cannot see.
Infrared
Film is sensitive to light we cannot see. It was developed
over 75 years ago for scientific purposes. When crops
were photographed from the air with Infrared film,
healthy plants recorded white while diseased plants
showed up black. About 30 years ago, Fine Art photographer's
"discovered" Infrared and its creative possibilities.
