Ron
Witkosky
Influenced
by modern culture and his own life experiences, Witkosky
began pursuing art professionally when he was commissioned
by a dealership in California to create images and
designs of the Volkswagen Beetle Autos. These original
three -dimensional pieces gave birth to his unique
paper sculpture style. The execution of his sharply
detailed pieces involves many hours of pain staking
work with permanent markers and sharp knives. The
graphic design nature of the work translates well
to two dimensional uses, but the movement of the three-dimensional
pieces can only be appreciated in person.
