Art Acquisition
Box Heart Gallery is bridging gaps between artists and art buyers by offering our own Art Consulting Service. With our technological economy on a down swing, investors are looking for creative ways to expand their resources by making investments with meaning. Because Box Heart understands that collectors of fine art do not always have the time to pursue a thorough search of the art market when they need quality contemporary art, Box Heart offers all the fun of purchasing a new work of art without the research, negotiations and arrangements that are part of the art buying process.

Box Heart's Art Consulting Program stresses the five points of successful art investing; Research, Presentation, Acquisition, Procurement and Installation.

Box Heart researches the art market by keeping an eye on all major galleries show schedules, artist inventory and new artist representation. Box Heart searches for appropriate works of art that fit both the clients aesthetic and budget.

When Box Heart meets the needs of the client, our research is presented and the fun begins!

Successful art acquisition requires that Box Heart maintains due diligence on pricing by checking with other dealers of similar works of art and by inspecting recent auction records when necessary. Box Heart negotiates on the clients behalf until the piece is procured and their investment is successful.

Art procurement involves the passing of an Art Provence to the new buyer. The Provence translates to the buyer from whom the piece of art has passed and certifies that is a true original work of art. The Provence will also relay to the buyer any reproductions that may have been made of the piece. Box Heart also handles shipping and insurance related issues when procuring the art for the buyer.

Of the five points of art investing, installation is perhaps one of the most important. Installation ensures that the new art investment is displayed properly, placed in the most desirable location and correctly lighted. For corporate collectors, installation is the key to maintaining the most efficient atmosphere to suit the needs of both staff and clientele.

The business of art is both a challenging and rewarding endeavor. Box Heart is in a unique position of being able to accommodate a lot of interests in the art field. To arrange for a free art consultation, call us at 412 687 8858.

Art Rental & Lease
Box Heart's Art Rental & Lease Program is designed to meet the needs of corporate consultants, museums, art galleries and artists interested in acquiring virtually any type of fine art sculpture, paintings, glass, tapestry, photography and more for the office or the home. The purpose of the program is to make art acquisition a possible and pleasant experience.

Art rental and leasing is a great tool for financial flexibility. For corporations, leases are often tax deductible. Also, our corporate clients may realize substantial tax advantages by expensing rental payments on an appreciating asset. In addition, Box Heart is a woman-owned business, providing valuable corporate credits. For individuals or private collectors, the Art Rental and Lease Program allows the purchase of fine art immediately, without a major financial commitment.

Original art may be acquired through the Art Rental and Lease Program, for a minimum of four months, at a charge of 5% per month of a Retail value exceeding $3,000. Art work with a Retail value under $3,000 can be rented for a fee the corresponds to our Rental Scale. At any time during the rental period, the individual has the Option to buy with a 10% discount, or it may be returned without further obligation.

The Art Rental and Lease Program can coincide with our Art Consulting Program for art lovers searching for a new work of art and a creative way to finance it. Art Rentals offer limited risk as the rental is always cancelable, has no interest charges and provides for exchanges throughout the rental period. Box Heart likes our clients to experience new types of fine art from various artists, therefore most works of art can be exchanged and another rental can be arranged. For more information on either our new programs, Art Rental and Lease or Art Consulting, please feel free to stop by the gallery or give us a call. We look forward to making art accessible in our community and hope that we can be of assistance to your needs and wants.
