Late this winter, Box Heart and moxie DaDA Galleries combined forces to establish Mox Box Premier Art Consulting. Gallery owners Christine Whispell and Nicole Capozzi recruited artist and arts advocate Kyle Ethan Fischer to submit a proposal in response to the city of Pittsburgh's request for an art consulting team to work with the Pittsburgh Penguin stakeholders to incorporate high impact public art into their new Arena project.
In early April, we learned that our proposal was included among the 4 other finalists in consideration for the project. Our plans since April have flourished. In late April, we lauched the Mox Box Consulting website. Visitors to our site can find more information about the specific services our galleries offer to make the acquisition of art fun.
We are extremely excited about the Mox Box Party! A unique way to bring an art exhibit into our client's personal environment, a Mox Box Party! can be used to "stage" a newly renovated property available for sale or to create a dymanic space for a small gathering or corporate business meeting.
In addition, Mox Box is currently working on several of our own projects, each designed to bring art into the home of the general public. To learn about these projects, such as "Artist's Portfolio Review" or "Inside the Artist's Studio" visit: moxboxconsulting.com and click the link for projects! |
Mox Box Consultants Christine Whispell and R. Grant Bobitski worked collaboratively with Perlora to decorate a sample living suite in Pittsburgh's Market District Condominiums. An example of living space that reflects the personal style of urban professionals, the suite included the artwork of various local artists working in an array of contemporary styles and medias. |

Mox Box Consultant Joshua Hogan is currently working with two movie productions, "The Road" and "My Bloody Valentine", as a scenic painter. In addition, Box Heart artist Mark Gualtieri was selected to create a series of over 30 paintings to be featured in the film "Shelter" and Box Heart artist Pat Young's pastel on paper artwork was selected to appear in the film "She's Out of My League."
